A text of meditation, written and distributed by Sabine Lichtenfels each year for this special occasion, is at the center of the different activities and meditations which take part worldwide on the same day. This text expresses that we, as humankind, can no longer accept the inner and outer walls which we built between people, between lovers, and between human beings and nature.

The number of those who participate in the Global GRACE Day is continually growing. Many different groups interpret the day in differing ways once they have begun to understand the quality of GRACE in their hearts.

Why November 9th ?  

Throughout history, November 9th has seen both the forth of cruelty and the power of liberation. On November 9, 1938, known as the “Crystal Night,” hundreds of synagogues were burned down in Germany and more than 30,000 people were deported to concentration camps. On November 9, 1989, the Berlin wall, acting as a barrier between two ideologies, was finally taken down.  

Many peace movements around the world now use November 9th as a day of opportunity to create a common peace power that no longer allows cruelty and separation between humans and our planet.
